This is my TOP lists of applications for music production on iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac and even Android. I have all these apps and use them at my live performances and in studio. I very often update this lists and I shall add new categories. At the moment I have tested more than 90% of all worthy music apps in AppStore and I track an output new.

Just got this one and Wave Generator and have Geo, Addictive, Sunrizer, Animoog, Korg IMS20, NLog, SampleWhiz. Definitely has things all the others don’t. A must have for the synth junkie!

Comment on Auria for iPad by Nik https://www.ipadmusicapps.ca/auria-for-ipad#comment-1998 Wed, 19 Sep 2012 01:58:15 +0000 https://www.ipadmusicapps.ca/?p=1226#comment-1998 The price for Auria and the plug ins (which I have all) were definitely worth every penny in my setup. I have a Boss BR recorder which I like for number of things but could never get the final product I want. Now with Auria my final sound is as if I am recording with a whole new setup and my songs have a very professional quality to them. For those with standard DAW setups I would reccomend it for on the go things (not too much of a need to have) but for those like me who don’t have a lot of money and already have an iPad but lack a good recording polisher it is a dream to have!

This new app enables everybody to create asthonishing beats, loops or melodies within minutes.
You don’t need to have any musical skills, knowledge or a good timing to use it.
While being easy to use it is also really complex as it brings a lot of features that can be played with.
That makes Square Beat a lot cooler than most of the beat apps in the iTunes Store.

I recorded a small video tutorial that shows me using Square Beats to create a first loop/beat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbNLuuffc3Q

It would be to much to list all it’s features.

Free Version: http://itunes.apple.com/en/app/square-beats/id547240415
Pro Version: http://itunes.apple.com/en/app/square-beats/id526060437

Check it out.

Very nice review of this educational piano app!
I wanted to share a new piano app called Piano Summer Games, which is the first real-time global music competition app in the world that uses also real instruments (you can use your own piano for it). The app is all about playing national anthems, representing your country and winning medals in sort of a “Piano-Olympics”.

Thanks,
Yigal
